Awesome game, very creative mechanics with interesting interactions. One small bug/feature at least on the Mac version: If you press Save and Exit during a battle against an enemy with the Tasty modifier, they may change into a different type of Tasty modifier when you continue the run. You can also use this technique to re-deal your starting hand, which is useful, but may not be intentional. Anyway, great game, looking forward to its full release.
love the game! definitely feel like their needs to be more variety in early rewards though, can be kinda disappointing and boring to have rng pass you dice that are the exact same as your starting dice or relics that don't actually encourage you to play any differently than if you didn't have them
totally get that some randomness comes with the territory for rogue-like games, but I also think that where they shine is experimenting with different playstyles and with the current selection a lot of runs feel very samey
that being said, it's a solid game with good bones and I definitely enjoy playing it
Looking forward to the full game, though I wanted to point out that Flash Terrain dice is totally broken in this version. I've attached images of my turn 1 and 2 below. I gave up after floor 300-ish as it wasn't getting harder fast enough.
The parts of the insane combo are:
* Mark of the Chosen One
* Bullseye
* Chocolate Muffin
* Flash terrain dice
I had 4 flash hollow terrain dice in my final deck of 9 dice (plus 4 attack and one block - all flash and hollow). At the end of turn 1 I have a space which gives +164. Before I attack on turn 2 (thanks to no damage from the Chocolate Muffin) that increases to +271. The +271 appears to be applied before the Bullseye bonus, meaning each dice was doing well over 500 damage... and I had 4 of them. Even then, I had 546 block on turn 2 before the enemy had a chance to attack.
Hi! Really fun game, I've been playing it a lot. Since I don't see any place to submit bug reports, I'll just put mine here
With this setup I placed a flash defense die on the empty +9 spot and now the game doesn't react to any input. For reference I'm playing the linux version on debian 12, though I don't think that's relevant.
When hovering over the (copycat) Modifier in the tutorial BEFORE the frog wants to tell you about it, the game does do allow me to do anything / it gets stuck.
You are able to skip the whole interaction, but that doesn't feel right :P
Really enjoyed both this game and the original, and I'm looking forward to the Steam version! Origins, however, might need a few tweaks in terms of difficulty. I'm now at floor 300 with little hope of reaching a limit. The combination of flash terrain dice and a prism die (a grow one to boot) has given me the ability to attack/defend/heal for over 300 on the second turn. This might need to be nerfed a bit, or else players can just decimate round after round with no end in sight. Endless mode is appearing to live up to the name.
Not too bad for a first run I think! Still sad I couldn't get to floor 200 though. It really has the same soul as the first game! that was a blast to play

I think I hit the end of endless mode: at level 150 it doesn't end the round after killing all the enemies
The first version is 10x times better. The shields does not stay between rounds, almost no chances to upgrade the dices to silver. wtf?

So yeah, flash terrain dice are OP.
wouldn't it be easier with the mirror dice and two boost dice (with 3 dots)?
idk i wasn't having a mirror dice during the run
fun game
i still have the old prologue i will try this out soon
that gay ass frog.
Thanks so much for putting this some where besides steam!!!
Incredible game and I cannot wait for the full release! I thought I didn't like deck builders until playing this so I'm super excited for more :)

I'm really enjoying it! I can't wait to play the full game!

Finished floor 54 but it won't let me progress rip, fine though because I'm going to play the steam version so I can get achievements

Is there any way to play in android?

Brilliant !
How is this project related to Die in the Dungeon Classic? I'm confused. Is it the same author? Is it a fan game?
Regardless of that, the game is a lot of fun!
The Mark of the Chosen One + Bullseye + any Flash die is a crazy combo
Hey! DITD Origins is a spin-off with a closer look and feel to the final game (coming later this year), made by the same team as DITD Classic.
Here's the link to the final game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2026820/Die_in_the_Dungeon/
Thanks for playing!
Hey!
When is the final game of DITD Classic coming out?
I'm trilled to play it and a huge fan of the demo.
